Kwara Workers Want Saraki to Investigate SPEB Boss' Death
The Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Kwara State Council Comrade Emmanuel Ayeoribe, who led the delegation of the workers on a condolence visit to the deceased family in Gaa-Akanbi Area of Ilorin yesterday condemmed the killing describing it as a dangerous trend in the state that is just recovering from its past.
"We call on Governor Bukola Saraki to ensure that this murder is not ignored. He should set up a high power delegation to probe the killing so as to fish out those were behind this dastard act" he said. The NLC chairman similarly charged the state police command and the state security services officers to work together and ensure that the assassins are promptly arrested and brought to book. Ayeoribe described the deceased as a dedicated, responsible, and hard working civil servant whose death must be immortalized to serve as a good example to others .
