Saraki donates classrooms to Benue IDPs

Abagena IDP Camp in Benue State have benefited two classroom blocks from the President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki.

The classroom blocks recently completed was financed by a donation by Saraki during the 2018 Children's Day celebration.

According to the Special Assistant on New Media Olu Onemola, Saraki who had spent the day with the children at the IDP, saw the bad state of theit classrooms and was moved to make the donation.

According to him, the President of the Senate who was then accompanied the the governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom and other lawmakers, made the donation for the building, payment of teachers and provision of learning materials.

Speaking on the completed projects, the SA New Media said that the children and mothers were very happy with the blocks of 8 classrooms.

He described Saraki as a lover of children's welfare, saying that he was committed to ensuring that the needy in the society are provided with opportunities to learn and grow.

"That is just who Saraki is, he is committed to developing the nation, putting children everywhere back to school, and working to make Nigeria better," he said.
