Group Sets to Improve Kwara People

A non political organisation centred on welfare of people of Kwara State, Kwara Leadership Caucus, has said it is determined to lead the state to more development.

A statement signed by the protem chairman and secretary of the organisation, Chief Iyiola Oyedepo and Alhaji Tunde Mohammed, respectively  in Ilorin, said the group was determined to ensure unity of the political class that desire better development in the state.

The group, which is made up of prominent politicians, businessmen and women, professionals and academics of the state origin, said that its mandate is to recapture the good spirit of the state.

"We want to assure the people of our state that we shall be bold and courageous to lead them out of poverty.

"Kwara Leadership Caucus wants to ensure that government should not only be responsible or acceptable to the people, but even political power should come from popular will," the statement said.
