Ahmed Condemns Attack on Journalist
The governor described the robbery attack on the editor of the Daily Sun, Mr. Steve Nwosu, as an unfortunate development and an indication of the disturbing level of crime and criminality in Nigeria.
Governor Ahmed in his reaction to the development through a statement by his chief press secretary, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oba, said "It was heart warning that Mr. Nwosu's quality life was not cut shock by evil men on devilish prowl."
He therefore prayed God to continue in supporting government and security agents in their quests to combat crimes and criminality in the nation, and also urged citizens of the country to always inform concerned authorities of any matter relating to crime in their vicinity.
