"Some of the students are already local champions in their respective schools but with this competition in place they will surely learn a lot from other students from other schools," he said.

Dr Adeyonu Gbemisola, Head of the Education Counseling Unit of LMUCDII, in a remark, said the initiative would assist the students to become better readers. "We discover that the students are no longer reading as they should" "The whole essence is to encourage the students to read and stimulate that reading culture for them to become better future leaders," she said. Adeyonu praised the institution's management for their support in making the programme a huge success.
