Malfunctioning traffic lights within Ilorin metropolis are to be repaired

All the Malfunctioning traffic lights within Ilorin metropolis are to be repaired to ensure flow of traffic along the affected routes.
The Kwara State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Prince Tunji Moronfoye, stated this today while featuring on a Radio Kwara Interactive programme "The Platform".
Prince Moronfoye explained that good roads were strategic to the social economic activities of the State and would not be handled with levity.
On the just concluded training for the teeming unemployed Youth by the state government in collaboration with the Kwara State University, Malete, he said the forty five million naira approved for them would be distributed based on their business proposals.
The Commissioner noted that the training would go a long way in equipping the participants to become job creators and applauded the Vice Chancellor of the University for imparting quality education on the people.
Speaking on the rating of Kwara Fadama project as the best in the Country by the Africa Development Bank (ADB), the Commissioner pledged state government's effort towards ensuring food sufficiency in the Country.        
Prince Moronfoye pointed out that qualified teachers would be considered for employment to achieve the desired results in the education sector.
Callers on the programme implored the State government to rehabilitate Ajase-Ipo-Offa road which they said was in deplorable condition.
They also advised the government to always ensure the prompt payment of allowances of Kwara United players to boost their performance.
