Kwara Gets New Police Commissioner

A new Commissioner of Police has been appointed for Kwara State, North Central Nigeria. He is Olaiya Victor Mobolaji.

His appointment followed his approval by the acting Inspector General of Police, Mr Kayode Egbetokun.

Until his appointment, the new Kwara police commissioner was the Commissioner of Police, INEC, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.

Mobolaji will replace CP Ebunoluwarotimi Adelesi who retired on September 1st, 2023.

Adelesi spent less than two months as Kwara Police boss before her retirement.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Okasanmi Ajayi who also confirmed his appointment said he would be resuming any moment from now.
