Call me Mr - Kwara deputy governor

The Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Mr Kayode Alabi, has asked members of the public to simply address him as "Mr".

According to a statement signed on Monday by his Chief Press Secretary, Modupe Joel, the deputy governor said he had noted that a section of the public had been addressing him as "Chief, Engr, Elder and Pastor."

She said, "While Mr Alabi understands and appreciates the intent of those who address him as such, he is neither a chief nor an ordained priest.

'To this end, the deputy governor requests that he is addressed only as Mr Kayode Alabi henceforth."
