Usman Ajidagba assumes duty as REC in Nasarawa

The newly appointed Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for Nasarawa State, Doctor Usman Ajidagba has formally assumed duties in the state.

He assumed duties on Monday in Lafia, the state Capital .

Doctor Agidagba who until his appointment was the Chairman , Kwara State Independent Electoral Commissioner (KWASIEC) has since swung into action as he was taken round various offices and later held meetings with management staff of the commission and as well inspected the residence of the resident electoral commissioner that is under construction.

The staff of the commission have, however, pledged their unalloyed support and loyalty to the new commissioner and he is expected to meet the leadership of some security agencies and later address the media.
