Jonathan, rebel govs' peace meeting holds after pilgrimages
The peace talks between President Goodluck Jonathan and rebel governors will resume after the conclusion of the Muslim and Christian pilgrimages.
Governor Liyel Imoke of Cross River State read the communique of a meeting held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Monday to State House correspondents.
Three rebel governors- Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State, Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State and Babangida Aliyu of Niger State- attended the meeting.
Imoke said the meeting received apologies from the remaining aggrieved governors, who are currently on Hajj.
