Both sides looked match rusty, with the visitors the better side on the night.

A more relaxed Samson Unuenel called for his Kwara United side to be calm, while his opponent prefers his boy to pile pressure. But coaches had embraced themselves before kickoff, but it’s time for business.

United got on the attack again, three minutes later, but David was too good to concede a weak Dimgba effort.

ABS won a free kick on the edge of the box after United have misused a counter attack benefit, but the Sulaiman Dogo managed side was not resourceful to ensure the first half ended goalless.
After the break
On return from the break, a now improved United side settled for threats against their opponent with Abu Azeez the most dangerous.
Dimgba failed to make good use of Habilu Obadaki’s cross, after which Azeez took one defender on the left flank and placed the ball so well, only to see his effort went just close in the 67th minute.
United fought so hard on the attack but referee Abubakar Ago from Yobe state could not wait longer than 90 minutes as he sounded the final whistle.
