Kwara Begins Productivity Enhancement Training for Civil Servants Ahead of 2026 Promotion Exercise
The Kwara State Government has commenced the 2026 Productivity Enhancement Training for civil servants across the state as part of preparations for the 2026 promotion exercise.
The Office of the Head of Service announced the commencement of the training in a statement issued on Tuesday by its Press Secretary, Mr Okanlawon Solomon.
According to the statement, the Acting Head of Service, Dr Olufunke Mercy Shittu, will officially declare the training open at the Staff Development College, Ilorin.
The training is designed for officers across all cadres of the Kwara State Civil Service to improve productivity, enhance efficiency and strengthen service delivery.
The government stated that successful completion of the programme is a mandatory requirement for all eligible officers participating in the 2026 promotion exercise.
The training will be conducted in two batches.
Batch A will hold from July 10 to July 31, 2026, for officers on Grade Levels 10 to 16, as well as administrative officers across all grade levels.
Batch B, which is for officers on Grade Levels 6 to 9, will take place from August 11 to August 28, 2026.
The Office of the Head of Service urged all affected officers to participate fully in the exercise, describing the programme as an important initiative to enhance workforce capacity and improve public service delivery across the state.
