The Kwara State College of Health Technology, Offa, has conducted its 50th matriculation ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session, marking a golden jubilee milestone for the institution.
During the ceremony, the Provost, Elder Ayanshola Benjamin, delivered a charge to the newly admitted students, urging them to embrace the solemn responsibilities of the healthcare profession. He emphasized the college's core expectations, which include a strong dedication to academic pursuits, integrity of character, and strict adherence to institutional values.
The Provost issued a stern warning against social vices, particularly cultism and examination malpractice, noting that such behaviors compromise both moral and professional standards. He affirmed that the college faculty remains deeply invested in mentoring students to become competent and compassionate healthcare providers.
Reflecting on the institution's history, Benjamin described the 50th matriculation as a testament to an enduring commitment to excellence. "For 50 years, this institution has produced skilled graduates who have made significant contributions to healthcare delivery and national development," he remarked.
The Provost expressed his appreciation to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his pivotal role in the college's advancement. He also acknowledged the support of the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hajia Sa'adatu Kawu, the college's governing council, and the entire academic and non-academic staff.
