UNILORIN VC Congratulates Professor Toyin Falola on Commencement Speaker Appointment

According to a news report from the University of Ilorin's Facebook page, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Professor Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has congratulated Nigerian-born US-based Professor of History, Toyin Falola, on his appointment as commencement speaker at the 10th Convocation Ceremony of Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State.

In a statement issued on his behalf over the weekend by the University Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr Kunle Akogun, the Vice Chancellor highlighted that the appointment recognises Professor Falola's extensive erudition and versatile oratory skills, making his selection for this task quite compelling.

Professor Egbewole expressed confidence that Professor Falola, a seasoned university professor, administrator, and eminent Professor of History at the University of Texas, Austin, United States, would share his wealth of knowledge with his distinguished audience at the lecture.
