Gov AbdulRazaq urges Nigerian Air Force to resume training at Ilorin college

Date: 2020-07-02

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has solicited the collaboration of the Nigerian Air Force to resume the training of its personnel at the International Aviation College (IAC) Ilorin.

This is contained in a statement issued by the chief press secretary to the governor, Rafiu Ajakaye in Ilorin.

According to the statement, the governor had tendered apologies to the Air Force authorities over how its previous relationship with the Aviation College went sour.

The statement explained that until recently, the Nigerian Air Force was training some of its officers at the Aviation College Ilorin.

The statement noted that the agreement was terminated a few years ago following alleged mishandling of funds meant for training on the part of the state.
