Kwara workers declare fasting over new wage

Date: 2020-02-05

After a deadlocked meeting with Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Joint Kwara Labour Congress (JKLC) yesterday declared a three-day prayer and fasting towards making the payment realisable in the state.

Besides, the organised labour also gave the governor 14 days from January 31 this year, to act or face the workers' ire.

The workers also enjoined its members to observe the fast between February 5 and 7.
