Zuru community restate commitment to peaceful co-existence

The Zuru community in Kwara State has reiterated commitment towards ensuring the achievement of the desired peaceful co-existence in the country stressing that it is only in an atmosphere of unity that more developments can be attracted to the nation.

The Chairman of Zuru Community in Kwara State, Mallam Umoru Bisalla Gwaza, stated this in a statement issued on Thursday commending the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari over the appointment of Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar, as the Shugaba'n Zuru of Kwara State.

Mallam Bisalla Gwaza however urged all members to be present at the turbaning ceremony of the newly appointed Shugaba'n Zuru which will come up at Palace of the Emir of Ilorin on Friday 9th September 2016 by 10am.

While pledging the commitment of the entire Zuru Community to the upliftment of the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State at large, the group urged all members to be punctual at the event.
