A three-man Electoral Committee has been put in place by the Kwara State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN). This follows the expiration of the Bunmi Adedoyin-led exco this month.

The Committe has Abdullahi Adisa Akodudu of Radio Kwara as Chairman, and he will work with Biodun Fagbemi of the Correspondents Chapel and Fatima Abdulrasheed of Kwara State Television (Kwtv), who will serve as the Secretary of the Committee.

The Electoral Committee will, according to a statement signed by the out-going Chairman, Bunmi Adedoyin. and the out-going Secretary, Jimoh Bashir, be inaugurated in the next two weeks.

The statement added that activities toward a successful hand-over to the next Executives will also be put in place.

The Vice Chairman of the body, Abdulwaheed Bibire had earlier taken over as the Acting Chairman of Kwara SWAN following the apppointment of Bunmi Adedoyin as the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Elder Peter Kishira
