Oladuntoye happy playing again, describes injury period difficult
Oladuntoye suffered a knee ligament injury in training in April during Kwara United's closed camp in Ijebu-Ode which was expected to keep him out for only five weeks but spent more time than expected on the sideline.
He was expected to be back for Kwara United for their match day 5 encounter at 3SC in Ibadan, but a setback on the injury kept him out for months.
The former Kaduna United defender only returned for the Harmony Boys as a substitute in a 3-0 defeat to Nasarawa United in a Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 26 in Lafia.
"I am very happy to be playing again because football is part of my life
"My injury period was a difficult moment but it is one of those periods in a footballer's career
"I have to thank my club for the confidence reposed in me and my team mates for their supports during my injured period
"Watching my team play from the stand was very difficult especially when the results are not coming our way
"My focus now is to ensure we remain in the league come next season while I work on my full fitness" Oladuntoye said.
Kwara United will lock horns with Sunshine Stars of Akure in Ilorin on Saturday in a match day 30 encounter, a game Oladuntoye said is very important to the players.
