50, 000 benefit from FADAMA project in Kwara
Over 50, 000 farmers comprising 1, 228 user groups spread across the 16 local government areas of Kwara State have benefitted from the World Bank-sponsored FADAMA 111 project.
Acting coordinator of the project, Alhaji Yusuf Agbabiaka, while briefing newsmen in Ilorin, said the project has been able to transform the lives of rural dwellers and reduce poverty rate. "The FADAMA projects sponsored by the World Bank and African Development Bank (ADB) have really touched the lives of many people, especially rural dwellers", he said.
