Nigeria's U-20 team to play Tanzania in Ilorin

 Nigeria's U-20 team, the Flying Eagles has opted to play the 2nd leg of their Africa Youth Championship qualifier against Tanzania in Ilorin, Kwara State

The game is billed to take place at the Ilorin Township Stadium; home ground for Nigerian Premier League sides, Kwara United and ABS FC.

Head coach of the Flying Eagles, John Obuh had earlier informed futaa.com that there were discussions with two other states on the possibility of hosting the match.

The other two states previously in the running to host the game were Rivers and Imo States.

Flying Eagles versus Tanzania AYC qualifier 2nd leg holds on the weekend of August, 11-12  2012.

Preparing hard

Already the Flying Eagles will take on their Benin Republic counterparts in a warm-up match on July 14 in either Ibadan or Lagos ahead of the first leg tie in Tanzania on July 28.

The team currently camped in Abuja is keen on defending the African crown won in South Africa at the last edition of the AYC.

Algeria is the host of the 2013 edition of the youth championships
