The General Manager of Kwara State Social Investment Programmes (KWASSIP), Abdulquawiy Olododo, has reiterated his support for the re-election of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as the Governor of Kwara State.
The rally, which was held at Ibagun Ward, in the Ilorin East Local Government Area of the state, had in attendance His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Campaign DG of APC, Ambassador AbdulFatai Yahaya Seriki, APC Spoke Person and Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Oyeyemi Olasumbo Florence, House of Representative member-elect, Ilorin West and Asa Constituency, Hon. Tolani Mukthar Shagaya, Attorney-General, and Honourable Commissioner for Justice of Kwara State, Barrister Suleiman Senior, Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. AbdulLateef Gidado Alakawa, Honourable Commissioner for Business, Innovation, and Technology, Hon. Ibrahim Akaje, Honourable Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hon. AbdulAfeez Abolore, people of the community and other notable stakeholders in the State.
Olododo highlighted the various ways the present administration has deduced to better the lives of kwarans.
"Governor Abdulrazaq has done so well to improve the socio-economic growth of Kwara State. He introduced a remarkable way of improving the lives of our people through Kwara State Social Investment Programmes (KWASSIPs), of which I am the Ag. General Manager.
"Here at KWASSIP, we have been able to embark on programmes to impact value and bring economic and social development to the people of Kwara through capacity building, social investments, and support to the vulnerable and unemployed.
"All this was showcased through schemes such as Owo Arugbo, which was targeted to give succor to women aged 60 and above in vulnerable houses. Owo Isowo for petty traders, farmers, and artisans in the state. Ounje Ofe for pupils in government schools across the state.
He stressed that the administration of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq had given a lot back to the people of the state in every sector and canvassed that the people needed to give him their support by voting him in for a second term.
"We all have witnessed all these good things in the state, as His Excellency has touched every local government with his goodwill. It is our turn to support and vote him right back into the government house. This way, we would be able to enjoy more of his magnanimity," he concluded
Other notable personnels at the rally all spoke about the benefits all kwarans have been entitled to in the administration and stressed the need for the people to cast their vote for him and all the APC House of Assembly Candidates at the upcoming Gubernatorial election.
