Muoka prays for Kwara, as church ends crusade

Date: 2018-04-29

With recent happenings in the North Central Region of Nigeria, particularly in Kwara State, Christians have been urged to pray more and remain steadfast in serving the Lord. This was part of the message of the General Overseer of The Lord's Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Worldwide, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, while speaking to journalists, during the two-day power packed crusade in Kwara State titled: "There Cometh One Mightier Than All."

The cleric explained that the event was organised as part of the church's three-fold vision: Grass root revival all over the world, revival of the Apostolic Christian experiences and Power as of old.

He said: "We can't be travelling round different states, preaching the word and blessing the people without visiting a place like Kwara State, being very strategic in the North Central Region of our great country."

He assured that God's blessings would be made manifest physically, spiritually and economically in every area of people's lives. He said: "I am appealing to all, particularly the Christians to be "genuinely born again," be sincerely committed and actively involved in evangelising the gospel, in preparation for the rapture of the saints because there's no more time. For this reason, everyone, particularly Christians should draw closer to God and pray because it's only God that holds the key to peace, unity and sovereign progress, as well as in making heaven at last," he said.

"For the government and good people of Kwara State, after this crusade, I am sure and definite that the state shall prosper. There shall be peace, unity and prosperity in the land. And the divine progress that comes from above will come upon this state."

Meanwhile, the church has concluded arrangements to take the gospel to the ancient city of Kano on May 5 to 6, 2018, at the Kano Pillars Stadium, Sabon Gari, Kano State. The two-day programme with the theme: "There Cometh One Mightier Than All" is the fulfilment of the church's vision for the people of Kano State and will be presided over by the General Overseer of church, Pastor Lazarus Muoka.

Briefing newsmen on behalf of the General Overseer, Pastor Lazarus Muoka during a media chat at Ijesha, the church's spokesman, Pastor Louis Chidi, assured the people of Kano State that God would prove Himself at the programme.
