The Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed has commended Sheikh Mohammad Robiu Abdul Malik for his deep involvement in developing the community by initiating different projects in the state.

Abdulfatah noted that the philanthropic gesture of Sheikh Abdul Malik has gone a long way to complement the efforts of the state government to facilitate development in communities across the state.

He commended the effort and contributions of the Muslim leader towards growth and developments all over the country. "Let me begin by commending the initiator of these two wonderful projects, medical health centre and Police headquarters in Ogigi, Kwara state.

"We sincerely appreciate you for supporting our efforts in providing adequate security and healthcare services for people in the state. Your decision to implement these projects is a reflection of your genuine interest in community development."He urged the philanthropist to keep up the good work, and also encourage other influential individuals to emulate the kind gesture, as government alone cannot do it all.

"No doubt, security plays a crucial role in stability, growth and development of any society. This is because no significant social, political or economic activity can take place in an insecure and lawless environment. The state government has taken cognizance of this fact, and that is why we continually place premium on safety of lives and property in the state. We will continue to support security agencies in their efforts to combat crimes in every part of the state," he said.

The governor represented by Special Assistant on Security Matters, Alhaji Muktar Bello, said the government could not do it alone, and therefore would continue to require the involvement of well meaning Nigerians to participate in the provision of essential utilities for the people of the state.

The President of Luthfullah International, Ganiu Oke, urged the state government to continue from where the pioneer of the two projects stopped. He said that the projects would continue to be useful and serve humanity, if they are well maintained by the council and other stakeholders.

The Local Government Chairman, Mukaila Omoniyi, expressed his appreciation to Sheikh Abdul Malik and his foundation for the step taken to complement the efforts of the council and the state government in the areas of healthcare and security.

Omoniyi stated that the two projects are the first of its kind in Ogigi, and pledged his council's support towards achieving the purpose for which the projects were executed. He assured the community that the authority would make good use of the hospital and ensure its maintenance by providing well-equipped facilities, posting of eligible personnel to serve there and provision of drugs and borehole to serve the community.

"This gesture is a demonstration of the council's resolve to be partner in progress with the government and good people of the state in particular."Sheikhkh Mohammad Robiu Adebayo Abdul Malik, who is the proprietor of Mahdul-Iftai wan-Najjat Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies described the donations as manifestation of Allah's blessings showered on him and his team.
