Sultan to Open Conference on Shaykh Al-Ilory
The event, which will hold between August 24 and August 28 at the University of Ilorin Auditorium in Ilorin, will feature paper presentations from within and outside Nigeria.
The programme will also feature the presence of Governor of Kwara State Abdulfattah Ahmad, Emir of Ilorin Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, and Vice Chancellor of University of Ilorin Prof. Ishaq Oloyede as well as a host of other dignitaries from the Middle East countries and Europe.
The occasion will also witness a book lunch of ‘A Book of Proceedings’ with keynote speakers and participants drawn from all over the world.
Speaking at a press briefing in Ilorin yesterday, Chairman Main Organizing Committee for the conference Prof. Charles A. Bodunde said being a Christian he has personal love for Shaykh Abdullah Adam Al-Ilory as such "we have to keep his legacy, secure and help it to create impact."
