The Kwara State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajia Ayinke Saka has assured that the present administration is committed to the welfare of the physically challenged in the society.

Ayinke Saka, who made the disclosure while receiving the Emirate Physically Challenged Association of Nigeria in her office said the state government, will continue to support the course of the physically challenged.

She added that the state government through the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development would not relent in its efforts to provide mobility aids anytime request is made by the group.

Earlier, the Chairman of the association, Alhaji Ahmad Imam Agbaji appealed to the state government to continue to support the group especially in the area of mobility aids and empowerment.

He sought for the Commissioner's support in providing Khadijat Zakariyau, mobility aid to ease her movement as she is currently learning hair dressing adding that Hajia Ayinke Saka has always shown interest in the welfare of the group.
