A goal against DR Congo in the 2nd round game and a brace against Gabon in the final qualifying round match from his boot helped the 2015 U-17 side secured qualification to the tournament in Niger where they later qualified to emerged world champion in Chile.
Ayinde expressed his excitement on his latest invitation. He said: "I am delighted to be back in the national team's fold, it is a privilege to play for the National side and I am going to do my best to make the team succeed."
He further thanked the coach for giving him a chance to be part of the team. "I am profoundly grateful to Coach Amuneke for the invitation, he has been a father since the U-17 days, I will do my best not to betray the confidence he has in me," he said.
