Sanni sings charges' praise
Kwara United head coach Tunde Sani has poured praises on his charges for their five-star performance against hard- fighting 10-man Giwa FC.
The Harmony Boys defeated the Tin City side 3-1 in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match day 19 encounter on Sunday at the Kwara State Stadium, llorin.
The llorin-based side's goals came off the feet of Gita Ismail, Abubakar Yusuf and Halilu Obadaki while Adamu Musa scored Giwa FC consolation goal.
The Jos outfit top scorer Shuaibu Ibrahim was issued a straight red in the hotly contested encounter.
Sanni said God complemented his wards' efforts to make it possible for them to earn the deserving win against Giwa FC.
"God actually made this heartwarming victory possible, the players, too gave good account of themselves in the clash.
"I think God complemented the work of the players in today's (Sunday) end of first stanza clash against Giwa FC.
"I'm really happy with the result as it will further improve our fortune on the log.
"I'm equally excited we were able to end the first term mark on high, at least, we will have something to relish till the second term starts," said the former Apa United gaffer to supersport.com.
The hard fought victory has taken the llorin outfit points haul to 22 from a possible 57.
