Kwara State chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Iyiola Oyedepo, has expressed confidence that there would be leadership change in Kwara in 2015.

The chairman who was speaking during a special prayer organised for the newly inaugurated minister of national planning, Dr. Abubakar Sulaiman at Ansarul Islam mosque in Abuja, solicited the cooperation of all to bring the dream to reality.

Sulaiman replaced Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi who was removed on March 5 as minister of sports following the defection of his godfather, former Governor Bukola Saraki to APC.

The PDP chairman, who said the new minister's appointment was divine, urged all to support him with prayers as he said the minister had been chosen at a very difficult time when he had to champion the course of ensuring the party's victory in 2015.

He said, "The minister has been chosen at a time we are going towards an election period and our party wants to win in Kwara State. There must be a change of baton in Kwara State and he has been chosen as one of those people that would champion and actualize this change; that is a very big challenge before him."
