Governor Ahmed extols Royal FM founder on job creation in Kwara
The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfattah Ahmed has described the Founder of African Broadband, owners of Royal FM,Royal TV and publisher of Royal Times online newspaper, Engineer Gbenga Adebayo as the Nigeria future Bill Gates, noting that a lot of Nigerian youths have been gainfully employed particularly Kwarans by the business tycoon.
Governor Ahmed who disclosed this during a courtesy visit paid to the International Media Centre (Royal FM) and Communication Network Support Service Limited (CNSSL) said his administration would continue to collaborate with the founder in order to develop the state by encouraging him to establish more industries.
He commended Engineer Adebayo for establishing Royal FM in Kwara, which according to him has been disseminating information and getting youths engaged in the state.
"To put something of this magnitude in place, it require people who think outside the box, although, thinking outside the box is not easy but it is doable for people who are determined.
"When you look at Bill Gate,he's a man that thinks outside the box therefore, I appreciate Engr Adebayo for thinking outside box.
"This is what Kwara state government has been working toward for a long time, I commend the founder of Royal FM for establishing series of industries in Kwara state," Governor Ahmed said.
He however promised to direct his relevant ministries to have a discourse with the entrepreneurial Guru on the best way to move the state forward and create more jobs for teaming youths.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Founder of African Broadband, owners of Royal FM,Royal TV and publisher of Royal Times online newspaper, Engineer Adebayo commended the state government for ensuring security of lives and property.
"We appreciate Governor Ahmed for the good leadership he portrayed; we commend you for bringing peace and harmony to the state.
"In our group, we are contributing our best to the development of national economy as we currently employ 6,300 Nigeria graduates in which over 800 are in Ilorin.
Engineer Adebayo however pledged to continue investing in youths by creating more jobs in Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
