Fed Cup: Kwara Utd plot Rangers exit
Maigidansanma said in Ilorin on Tuesday that the team's recent resurgence is a big boost going into the match on Thursday at the Area 3 pitch in Abuja.
"I have always believed in these boys and I am sure they will not disappoint on Thursday
"We are going into the game with our highest belief this season because we have been able to win back to back in the league" Maigidansanma said.
Also reacting to the match, one of the most experienced players in the team, Dare Ojo said there won't be a place for Rangers to hide on Thursday in Abuja.
"We are very confident going into this game.
"We want to play in the continent next season and this is one of the few opportunities available to do so.
"We want to take a step forward in our season starting from Thursday" Ojo said.
Another player in his reaction, Halilu Obadaki maintained that the team is gathering momentum need to finish the season well.
The powerful playing left full back added that they want to surpass the quarter finals reached in the 2010 edition of the competition.
"We will continue our recent good form on Thursday in Abuja by beating Rangers.
"We did it in the league, beating them 3-1 in Ilorin during the course of the season this year, so we will do it again on Thursday in Abuja" Obadaki said.
One of the goal scorers in the match day 19 Nigeria Professional Football League in Ilorin on Sunday against Giwa FC, Abubakar Yusuf, said the spirit in the team is high and that the attitude will help them on Thursday in Abuja when they lock horns with Rangers.
"We are very determined these days, many of us can't believe where the spirit in camp is coming from.
"We have been bringing down the so called big teams recently which I believe Rangers is one of them.
"Rangers will surely fall on Thursday I can assure you" Yusuf said.
It would be recalled that Kwara United defeated a non league side, A.B.U Zaria, 5-3 on penalties after 2-2 scoreline during normal time in Minna, Niger State in the round of 32.
They had earlier defeated also Akwa Starlets in the round of 64 after emerging the state champions in the play off.
