Police Kill Two in Kwara
Two bandits that had been terrorising the people of Ilorin and its environment in Kwara state have been killed by men of the state police command.
The state Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. Abdul Bube who disclosed this to newsmen on Friday at a news conference also said that the command had impounded over 200 motorcycles whose owners violated the 7pm deadline for okada operations in the metropolis.
According to him, "the two armed robbers engaged the men of the state police command in a gun battle on Thursday where they lodged in one of the hotels in Afon in Asa local government council of the state but they were later killed".
