Kwara Governor Mourns Late First Lady Beatrice Bamigboye, Wife of State's Founding Governor
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Mrs. Beatrice Bamigboye, wife of the state's first governor, Brigadier-General David Oluwasanmi Bamigboye. The former first lady, who was 76, passed away in Lagos, seven years after her husband's death.
Mrs. Beatrice Bamigboye, whose full name is Beatrice Abike Abdulkareem Bamigboye, leaves behind five children, several grandchildren, and a legacy of service. Her burial arrangements will be announced by the family.
Governor AbdulRazaq extended his condolences to the Bamigboye family, particularly those in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State, stating: "May Almighty God grant her soul eternal rest and strengthen the family during this period of grief."
