AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's Administration to Flag Off 209km Rural Road Projects

Date: 2024-10-21

The Kwara State Government, under the leadership of His Excellency AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has announced plans to officially flag off the construction of 209.77km of rural roads across the state. The project will be implemented under the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), which aims to enhance infrastructure in rural areas.

The statement highlights that this strategic initiative reflects Governor AbdulRazaq's firm commitment to boosting economic growth and development by opening up more cities and villages, thereby improving access to markets and enhancing agricultural productivity.

This monumental project, experts have said, will embolden investors to do business in Kwara and ease the transportation of goods from villages across the state to cities.

The government called on residents to join them on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Madi-Peeke Road, Asa/Ilorin West LGA at 11:00 AM to be part of this historic milestone as we transform our rural communities and boost opportunities for all.
