Kwara State Government to Commission New Jebba Waterworks in Anniversary Celebration

According to a news report from the Kwara State Government Facebook Page, the Kwara State Government has finalised arrangements to commission the newly constructed Jebba Waterworks in Moro Local Government Area.

This event is part of the symbolic activities marking the first anniversary of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's second term.

The State Ministry of Water Resources extends an invitation to the general public for the grand commissioning of this new facility in the historic town of Jebba.

The commissioning ceremony, set to take place on Wednesday, 29th May 2024 at 12 noon, will be officiated by His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON.

This waterworks project is a significant effort by the government to ensure access to potable water, reduce waterborne diseases, and improve sanitation and hygiene for the state's residents.
