The Hon. Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, Hajia Sa'adatu Modibbo Kawu, and Kwara State House Committee Chairman on Tertiary Education, Alh. Abdulwahab Opakunle and his members took an inspection visit to the project at Osi Campus of KWASU, to ascertain the level of performance with a view to facilitating its resuscitation.

Hajiya Kawu said that the project was at fourty-eight percent completion, although the level of work did not commensurate with the amount released by the last Administration. The Hon. Commisioner reiterated that His Excellency, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq led administration, upholds the principle that government is continuum and that is why her ministry will do its best to ensure the completion of the project.

Adding that the project it would open opportunities for our teaming youths to have choices for their educational advancement and also open up, the community to socio-economic advancement. Stressing that "KWASU is one of the Tertiary Instituitions in the country that takes community development seriously". In her words the report of the visit would be transmitted to HE Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for onward action."
