PDP to stage solidarity rally for Saraki in Kaiama

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaiama local government area of Kwara is to stage a solidarity rally on Friday in support of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki's defection to the party.

Alhaji Usman Tori, the chairman of the party stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Kaiama.

Tori noted that the rally, which would hold immediately after Jumat service was to express the support of the Kaiama community for the leadership style and the apt decision of the Senate President. According to him, the party has mobilised all the stakeholders and party loyalists for the rally to show the love the people of the council area has for Saraki.

The chairman urged the Senate President not to be perturbed by the political re-allignment in the state and the country, assuring that the party would win in Kaiama in the forthcoming general elections. (NAN
