As the Emir of Ilorin, Alh Ibrahim Sulu Gambari (CFR), clocks 78, the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Dr Ali Ahmad, says his reign as the eleventh Emir has ushered in transformation, Stability and peaceful coexistence among the diverse ethnic groups in Ilorin Emirate.

The Speaker made the observation in Ilorin, while felicitating with the Emir and the Chairman of the State Council of Chiefs,on the occasion of his 78 birthday anniversary.

Dr Ahmad in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Abdul Rahman Sanni, described the Emir as a foremost traditional Ruler and Jurist per excellence whose contributions to nation building, were unquantifiable.

The Speaker, noted with delight, that the Emir at 78, still active and passionate about providing effective leadership, which he said, was currently translating into shared prosperity, accelerated development and peaceful coexistence, in the Emirate.

He urged the Septuagenarian, not to relent in the task of providing wise counsels for leaders, pointing out that, as the nation was currently bedeviled with challenges and warming up to another round of general elections, his wise counsel would be of tremendous benefits, towards sustaining, peace, unity and stability of the nation.

Dr Ahmad then prayed Allah to continue to grant the Emir continued Wisdom, sound health and peaceful reign.
