KWARTMA gives fourteen-days ultimatum to impounded vehicles owner for repossession

The Kwara State Road Traffic Management Authority (KWARTMA) has called on owners of impounded and abandoned vehicles and motorcycles parked at the premises of KWARTMA office from year 2014 to May 2016 to repossess the vehicles within fourteen days from today 16th of September 2016.

Speaking with our correspondent, Olarotimi Oshin at KWARTMA premises, along Isaac mowo road opposite ITC club Gaa- Immamn Ilorin where the vehicles and motorcycles are parked, the public relation officer of the agency Mr Olanipekun Nureni warned owners of such vehicles to report to the office of the KWARTMA or forfeit them to the members of the public.

Our correspondent who move round the office of the agency reports that the impounded vehicles includes white Nissan saloon car ,Nissan bus, Dangote Trailer, Volkswagen bus, Mazda space wagon taxi, Mitsubishi bus, Mercedes Benz and Motorcycles.

The agency however warned that owners of such vehicles and motorcycle who fails to report to KWARTMA office within fourteen days from today stands the chance of forfeiting such for public acquisition.
