OGS gets Solar Power Lighting Courtesy of OGS Old Student Association UK

Date: 2016-09-05

By the grace of God and the efforts of some Old Students of Offa Grammar School, Offa in the United Kingdom (OGSOSA UK) with support of sponsors and well wishers solar powered lighting was installed in the school. This is a modular installation capable of expansion. Currently the installed capacity provides electricity to the computer laboratory, exam hall, Oyediran Hall (library), administration block, Oyeleke Hall (staff room), clinic and the gatehouse. This is a big move within a greater scheme and we members of OGSOSA UK thank all those people that have helped in making it possible.

The job is not completed as we hope to increase the capacity to power other areas of the school including the classrooms, science blocks as well as the staff residences and street lighting system. We appeal to kind hearted philanthropists to help in completing this project that will benefit many generations of children. We look forward to hearing from you with your donation.
