Following the financial crisis facing the society, the kwara state government has been commended for making family planning available across state hospitals at subsidise rate.

Speaking with Royal Times correspondent, the Midwife of the Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Agbo Oba Ilorin, Mrs Emmanuel Juliana urged women to take family planning as crucial in the family affairs.

Juliana explained that family planning has assisted the nation as couples can decide number of children that they can effectively care for. She noted that women would have relaxed from the first birth before another.

Juliana explained that lots of pregnant women now visit mission maternity centres for childbirth.

The CAC Midwife however called on government to assistance mission maternity centres by providing needed equipment which according to her would eventually improve mission maternity homes in the state.

While explaining that a midwife is a trained health professional who helps women during labour, delivery, and after the birth of their babies, Juliana lamented that some pregnant women do contact different form of diseases as a result of given birth in wrong places as a result of financial crisis.
