4 Unilorin dons bag Nagel Calvin Grants
Four lecturers from the University of Ilorin have won the Nagel Calvin Institute's Grant.
The lecturers, Dr. Patrick U Nwosu of the Department of Religions,Dr. Akiti G Alamu of the Department of Religions, Dr Lemuel E Odeh of the Department of History & International Relations and Dr. Yinusa A Mohammed of the Department of Sociology, were among 23 academics world-wide – 11 in Religion and 12 in Social Sciences - that got the Grant.
A workshop was recently organised for the Grantees by the USA-based Nagel Calvin Institute, in Cape Town, South Africa. More than 200 researchers applied for the Grant out of which only 23 were successful.
