A suspected man woman who was allegedly caught while trying to kidnap a child at Challenge area,Ilorin,Kwara State capital has been apprehended by residents.

The suspected kidnapper, according to eye witnesses pretended to be a mentally retarded person was at early hour of Thursday ambushed at challenge in Ilorin the kwara state capital and handed over to the Nigeria Police. It was gathered that the suspect was caught while trying to lure a young boy with ball and kidnap him.

According to eye witness, people around the Challenge area have been observing the suspect movement for the past few months in respect to his behaviour and attitude.

Sources disclosed that the suspect was immediately apprehended and when his dirty clothes were removed two mobile phones were found in his possession. Eye witness revealed that the police officers from A Division came to arrested the suspect before team from Police Headquarters arrived and whisked him away.
