Leaders Tasked On Service Delivery

Date: 2015-10-14

The governorship aspirant of the Labour Party (LP) in Kwara State during the 2015 general elections, Dr. Mike Omotosho, has called on leaders to deliver service to the people who voted them into power, saying the interest of the people should be paramount.

Omotosho, who called for prayers for officials of the Kwara State government to give back to the people who voted them, said it was too early to start talking about the 2019 elections, when those in power are just starting their tenure.

"We should start praying to God to change their mind so that they can begin to serve the people. We don't have to wait till 2019 before our leaders will start to serve us, why should we wait till then when we can begin to enjoy now?"
