Date: 2015-09-11

Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed has sympathized with shop owners at Oko-Olowo in Ilorin South local government area, whose shops were gutted by fire.

Governor Ahmed in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Abdulwahab Oba described the incident as unfortunate, especially in the prevailing economic challenges across the country.

The Governor advised the people of the state to be vigilant and exercise caution in handling inflammable substances as the Oko-Olowo incident was allegedly caused by wrong handling of fuel.
