One party assembly ensures consensus - Kwara Speaker
The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Dr Ali Ahmad yesterday said the domination of the House by members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has opened doors for consensus approach to issues.
Speaking with newsmen in his office, Ahmad noted that members of the House holds the state government accountable to the people.
He said, "We are fully prepared to perform effectively in rendering services to the general public and that is why we are going for training and retraining to ensure we attain efficiency.
"We expect constructive criticism from the media if we are not performing up to the expectation.
