Ilorin Aviation College produces 18 pilots
International Aviation College, Ilorin, said it has achieved another milestone in the aviation industry in the country by producing another set of 18 pilots.
The Rector of the institution, Captain AbdulMumeen AbdulRahim, disclosed this in llorin while speaking with newsmen. He said the 18 new pilots had undergone an intensive 18 months training programme.
The new pilots, according to him, comprised of five commercial pilot holders with instrument and multi engine rating and 13 private pilot licensed holders.
AbdulRahim added that the college also recently completed foundation course training for nine cadet helicopter pilots for Briston Helicopter.
It would be recalled that the college graduated its first set of nine pilots in December 2013.
