Oba Cup: Kwara in good start

Defending champions of the on-going YSFON organised Oba Erediuwa Cup for U-13 boys, Kwara State, has continued to show class in the competition when they defeated hard fighting Enugu State counterparts 2-0 to brighten their chances of qualifying for the semi-final stage of the annual competition.

The match which was decided at the playing field of Paragon School Benin City saw the defending champions who had earlier played a goal less draw with the Federal Capital Territory dominating all aspects of the game to record victory at the match.

In the other matches decided, host state, Edo defeated Osun 2-0 in their first match of the competition before recording a 2-0 victory over nine-man Nasarawa team who had earlier played a 0-0 draw with Bauchi . However, Ogun State recorded a 1-0 victory over FCT.
