Community Report: Court Bans Change of Royal Compound Name at Arandun
An Upper Area Court sitting in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital, yesterday ordered that the name of Okesan Ile Oba Ibuoye in Arandun, Irepodun local government area of the state be retained.
Besides, it ordered against any attempt either by bill boards, banners or whatever means to replace inscription on the royal family compound from Ile Oba Ibuoye to Aroyenro adding that where such had been done, they should be removed immediately.
The court presided over by Hon Saka Amule also directed the Police in the area to ensure total compliance with the orders pending the court's determination of the substantive suit between Ibuoye Royal Family and Chief Ajapana Adedeji and Pa Michael Adeoti.
The Police was also directed to prevent hosting of a ceremony slated to hold in Arandun on Saturday, 31st Aug 2013 to forestall the breakdown of law and order.
