Following the tragic incident that involved a student of Kwara state polytechnic that was hit by a stray bullet last Monday, being 27th May, 2013, A delegation from Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki's constituency office consisting of Alhaji Nasiri Subair,Bamikole Omishore, Lamidi Akanbi and Dare Ibrahim Garba paid a courtesy visit to the victim at University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.

Senator Saraki who expressed much grief over the incident appealed to students and the community for consistent calm while the government further in its determined quest to enforce justice.

While speaking at the visit, the delegates reassured the victim that the distinguished Senator will support him in restoring his health and also continue to use his position as a Senator to advocate for continuous re-orientation of the Nigerian police force to enable them to efficiently safe guard lives and properties.

The Delegate on behalf of distinguish Senator Saraki commended the Student Union Government of Kwara Poly for standing with the victim as their representatives where with him at the hospital and encouraged them to foster unity amongst the students and the host community by making sure unfortunate incidents like this are not allowed to escalate into destruction of properties.
